I really like the vanity area remodel. Everything else was pretty subpar for the price except it was clean. There were not enough towels and washcloths for 3 people even though we had a double room. The tv was quite small, but typical in most hotels I've been to recently. It was difficult to get to the outlets to charge the phones because they don't have a charging station outlet on the bedside table like most do now, we had to actually move out the nightstand to get to the outlet, which was located on the floor. The other was on the opposite side of the room, again, in an inconvenient area. My biggest complaint is the beds. VERY VERY basic, NO pillow top, NO memory foam, NO comfort topper. Just the very outdated quilted spring mattress which does not even have a full (covers top and bottom and zips) mattress case to protect from bedbugs and allergens, so that made me very nervous. I have not seen a hotel with that type of mattress OR a 'double' size in probably more than 10 years, they REALLY should have invested in that before a remodel of the vanity area. the bathroom is a right squeeze too.
I stay here a lot and have always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean the staff is friendly and the breakfast in the morning is always great.

Old rooms. No elevators. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Went above and beyond to assist after the house maids called off due to the hurricane. But the carpets are dirty and wasn't upkept
Good to go for a stop over. Clean rooms friendly staff. Waffle House is close by for breakfast. Harley dealership across the street.
