We've taken our vehicles only to Consumer Automotive since for issues as small as oil changes and as big as timing belt replacements. We've found Mike and Andrew and their crew to be honest and effective in every repair we've had done. They also stand by their work as evidenced by a power steering issue I had on my Honda Pilot that was repaired but the issue reoccurred. Although months later, Mike stated the work was still under warranty and replaced the power steering pump free of charge.
Wanted to add to my post as we had an issue with my wife's Volvo as the battery was slowly draining. Mike ran several tests on the car, found the problem, and got back to me with an estimate. The repairs were made and once again we've had no problems in the week or so since the repair.
Super surprised I haven't written a review for this place already. Mike's always patient with me on the phone if I ask what something does, what I need to look out for, if I have to come back and get it fixed at a future date, etc. They take payments over the phone and are just all around great

We moved to the Cartersville area about 3 years ago and Consumer Automotive was recommended to us early on when looking for a mechanic. My wife's Volvo had an air conditioning issue that previous mechanics were unable to repair. Mike diagnosed the problem, called me with an estimate and then properly repaired the system; we haven't looked back since.
Excellent service! I drive 20 miles to these guys. In my experience it's rare to find a mechanic that is both honest and reasonable, so it's well worth the drive.
We both own vehicles over 10 years old and know repairs can be costly, but Consumer Automotive doesn't price gouge nor do they look for added things to fix that don't need it.
We've used Consumer's Automotive for several years. We use them because they honestly and accurately diagnose and understand your vehicle when you take it in with an issue. They are friendly and down to earth, everyday people. Simple, excellent service. We have a vehicle that's on the road during the week, making it hard to get in for an oil change. We were able to call last minute and bring it in for service. We don't expect them to have the capability to do so every time, but they made a way for us to get the service we needed. One more thing worth mentioning, when Mike gives me a quote for the work to be done he stands by it. I have never had a quote that was later changed or something added on. Honest and effective once again.
Love these guys, their honesty, and expertise. Have used them for probably over 15 years. Updated 11/21/17: Still feel the same way. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
