Brought in my usually reliable leaf blower which for some reason would not start. one weekend It was a fluke and the machine started when they pulled the cord. They charged me $35 to pull that cord - mechanic never even had to touch it. What a rip off and they have lost a customer. Definitely not the "helpful" place.
They make you feel like they genuinely "want" to be there and "want" your business.
John (owner) tries to help every children's organization that he can. When I approached him about getting the webelos of pack54 knives, he bent over backwards trying to save me money. Gotta love the little man!
I expect to see Aunt Bea, Andy or Opie shopping here.
I'm proud that Cartersville has businesses like this one.
It's likely they will not have what you need and if they do it will cost more. I don't think that is unusual for Ace hardware, but the staff here doesn't have the knowledge of other Ace hardware stores. Most of the staff are high school kids so I believe it's management's lack of providing quality training that is causing this store to suffer.
