Five stars.. my debit card broke, they confiscated it, told me it would take five dollars and ten business days to receive my new one. Cash is not in my side. That card is my currency. How will i survive this ten business day waiting period? Any ways give these guys five stars BC they ALWAYS have candy in there.
Hamilton State Bank is by far one of the worst banking experiences I've ever had. If there were a way to give them less than one star, I would. Their fraud detection system is horrific and they shut your card down for things that obviously aren't fraud at all. They have a banking app that does significantly less than 90% of the other apps, and still only works a 1/4th of the time. It's impossible to reach anybody that works there to fix any issues you have (I.e. Constant card shut offs from terrible fraud detection), and when they do, the same issue happens less than a few days later. Their locations are extremely spread out, making it near impossible to actually go to a physical location to deposit anything as their app has no check deposit option. My identity has been stolen three times under their watch, but was flagged for fraud when I accidentally ran the card as credit at a grocery store, making me not be able to buy dinner that evening, and waiting a week to get a new card. DO NOT BANK WITH HAMILTON STATE BANK.
