Staff laking in character that should be imposed with working park services ive been too the Yellowstone and Grand Teton and this was the worst of the worst spark services
Some of the "watch dogs" aren't very friendly. They need to lighten up and realize they are only there to open and close the damn gate and get over themselves. However, there was one gentleman driving a white truck who was very nice and not so pushy and rude about the parking fee. Also, too many male creepers hanging out ... Not that I have anything to worry about from them since I'm a female ... But they are there.... And they are definitely creeping.
The volunteer fat redneck in a white pick-up truck who closes the park at Allatoona Dam Rd, is an a**hole, he needs to be kicked out of there. He makes people not want to visit the park ever againg. He yells and demands at everyone like he owns the place. BAD volunteer staff, get rid of him!
I've been going here 20+ years and have enjoyed the park immensely.. Wonderful place to cook out,picnic or just relax and enjoy the water and nature.. Also has some nice hiking trails that range from easy,medium to hard.. My only gripe about the park now would be the park use fees that are required now to use the park for the day.. Still I love the park and visit every now and then..
Very perfect picnic I have ever had.. Really energies atmosphere with natural beauty all around.
