I, personally, do not know what the issue is-are items being stored incorrectly? (For example, potatoes-I think they should be covered up at night with burlap or the like, refrigerated greens need to be at a consistent temperature...) Are they over ordering and just not selling fast enough? The one thing I do know is that *it can be done*. Wegmans Foods is the example to follow. Unfortunately, there aren't any this far south.
The Kroger in Cartersville has great values all the time! I love the wide expansive market, lots of parking and convenient gas pumps with every part of the property neat and tidy! They something for everyone who comes there, even a line of clothes for the whole family! I think I'll pay their produce area a visit this afternoon just because they have a well-maintained produce department.
I always shop here. I love this place. Most of the time everyone is super nice and helpful, but you get the occasional person who hates thier job and throws your groceries or crams everything in to one bag!
Kroger, you have a lot of good qualities going for you. But you need to figure out produce. Please try.
Needs to work on produce. Has a huge produce department but often items are way past peak or, sadly, rotting. Lots of signs for organic produce - but the items are often not good.
Very clean. Up to date. An amazing store. There is now a cheese bar and wine tasting area.
Kroger has long been a favorite of mine. This huge market place was great. Unbelievable beer choices. Eager to come back and explore more.
