Not-so-good: Coffee, availability of all menu items, Coffee temp and taste.
The price tag I don't think changes per store.. but it should.. a Cartersville panera should be cheaper then a midtown one.. rent for one. If I were owner, I would come in and clean house then rehire.. this town is desperate for incomes, you can find good workers if these don't know what good work is.
Panera is my fave soup and sandwich place. I love their broccoli cheese soup. It's the bomb. Also their corn soup(not real name) was so good. It's seasonal.
Ordered from Panera today online. Only had 3 items. A pick 2 and full size salad. Drove 20 minutes to get there. I should have checked the bag, but some co-workers had ordered food too, so I was picking up their orders as well. Got back to work and the full size salad was the same size as my half. Called and spoke with the mgr who only said I apologize. I said I guess I'll drive all the way back there and swap it out. He didn't offer to bring it, they do have delivery now, right? He said I can take care of it next time your in. Really? Someone needed their lunch. It needed to be taken care of then. Gave 2 stars because the pick 2 was correct and good. Just disappointed in the customer service. I have worked in the food industry for years, so I know HOW this should have been handled.

Things expected from Panera, a higher quality of service per that price tag, meaning staff is friendly and attentive AND keeps a clean place. I came in at about 4pm, more then half the tables were dirty, the staff mostly cutting up and standing at the front desk... I order, i changed 1 thing.. the type of bread on my which... it came out with the incorrect bread, I went up to change it.. never was helped. Though could hear them in back cutting up n such.
For a Panera, I was very disappointed.
I should have made this review a long time ago but today was the last straw. I have a reward for a dollar off a soufflé and I ask the cashier to apply it and he didn't. I looked at my receipt and can to turn my car around and go back inside. I spoke with an other cashier that was older and she was so rude when I asked if I could get charged the correct price. She went and got a supervisor. As I was waiting, the guy who didn't apply the discount in the first place was standing there and I told him what happened. He was rude. The supervisor was rude as well. Overall horrible customer service for the prices on the menu. When this Panera first opened it was great. Now it's like dealing with McDonald employees.
Good: Sandwiches
Hot coffee from inside (not drive through) tasted expired and not hot, one coffee from drive through was just above lukewarm, and my most recent ice cafe latte had an overly roasty, bitter coffee-grind aftertaste and had too much milk. The color should have been he color of a latte -- not beige milk. Overall the lack of consistency and disappointing coffee is not worth the price point for me. I want to believe ... but I'm finding hard to justify continued revisits.
